First Class First Class

Air China's Forbidden Pavilion offers First Class shells, which give lots of privacy and feature natural leather and wood upholstery. They provide comfortable lie-flat seats and the mood lighting and muted pastel shades ensure a relaxing journey. There is a 58-cm touch screen TV with noise cancelling headphones, and every seat has personal power and connections. There is ample storage space including a wardrobe and the central bar has snacks available at all times. Five to eight-course meals are served with a choice of 18 different classic dishes from around the world and ice cream is always on the dessert menu. Checked luggage can weigh up to 40-kg on domestic flights and two 32-kg bags on international flights.

Business Class Business Class

On the new wide-bodied planes, Air China offers the Capital Pavilion Business class with seats that are 190-cm long, 54-cm wide and with a 170-degree incline. On other aircraft, the seat pitch is between 105 and 147-cm with a width between 50 and 56-cm and they convert into either full or angled flat beds. Hostesses serve a four or seven-course meal depending on the flight length. On most aircraft, each seat has on-demand entertainment available along with in-seat power and USB ports. On twin-aisle aircraft, each seat has aisle access with the 1-2-1- seating arrangement and on single-aisle aircraft seating is 2-2.Travellers receive pillows and duvets on long flights. For domestic flights, the checked luggage allowance is 30-kg, and on international flights you can carry two bags up to 32-kg each without charge in Business class.

Economy Class Economy Class

In Economy class, snacks or light meals are served on short routes and on longer flights there are complete meals appropriate for the time of day, and yoghurt and fresh fruits come with all meals. On wide-bodied aircraft, personal seat back screens provide on-demand entertainment with dozens of classic bilingual movies, hundreds of music CDs and a wide selection of games. On other aircraft, there are 12 music channels, and movies are presented on shared screens with audio in English or Chinese. WIFI and shared in-seat power supplies are available on some aircraft. Seats have a pitch between 76-86-cms, are 43-46-cms wide and recline 106-120-degrees. Complimentary pillows and blankets are available on long-haul flights. On domestic flights, the luggage allowance is up to 20-kg, and on international routes the limit is 23-kg. In First class, two bags plus a personal item are permitted as carry-on luggage weighing less than 5-kg on domestic flights and 8-kg on international. For Business and Economy one bag with the same weight limitations and measuring no more than 55 x 40 x 20-cms can be brought on-board. You can purchase extra weight allowance online or at the airport prior to departure at a higher rate. Online check-in for Air China flights is available between 24 and 3-hours before take-off when you can select or change your seat. Special meals and assistance requests cannot be processed during online check-in. Mobile check-in is available 24 to 1 ½ -hours before the flight leaves, and in both cases you must pick up your boarding pass in the airport, although self-printed and mobile boarding passes are permitted on some flights. You must complete airport check-in at least ½-hour before domestic flights and 1-hour before international departures, and most airports also offer self-service check-in counters.
